Hi, my name is Pei Ling, you can also call me Perlyn. I am 20 years old and horoscope aries.
By the way I am not tall, so don't mention it too much in front of me. If you are good in mathematics, don't ever try and count the number of pimples in my face.
I am super blur and am stubborn at times, and sometimes I may also seem to be rather quick-witted. I am mostly nice so don't get on my nerves too much. One bad thing about me is my sharp tongue, so try not to take to heart with everything I say.

STILL MANY MANY ROPES TO LEARN...
work was really stress.... well can't help it... since I'm in the accident group which means that any case happen that need me to do the i will have to do it, thus i won't know what is the next thing i need to do and have to check with my supervisor...
i really have lots of things to learn in terms of asking questions and approaching people... luckily, there are many nice colleagues out there to give me some advice but half of the time i will have to do it and experience it all by myself... i guess... that is the only method to learn fast.... at least they do think that i am okay and give me real reporter jobs to do such as interview, writing articles etc....
everytime when i went out for cases, i really do learn a lot... and I'm glad that i get to meet nice people out there....
saw blood today, can be considered a small pool of blood lar... at first there was a bit of queasy feeling but then after awhile it was okay... luckily, i did not get to see things more disgusting than that... haha...
yays!! after like about 6 day of work, I'm going to have 2 days off!!! must catch up with my sleep man!!

STRESSED!
its rather stress at work today as i was a newbie... shall not talk much about it... though stress, there are still a lot of things to be learnt, more than my brain can absorb at a time... i must try and hang on man!!

TIRED
its like only two days of attachment and I'm getting to like the place... the people there are really nice... however everyday at the end of work i will feel very tired.... and i really think that i don't have life sia.. for i will reach home at about 7 to 7plus depending on the time i leave the place then i will bathe and eat my dinner then it will be done by 8.30pm then i spend some time onlining and watch the 9pm show and then went to bed... that's it! that is how my days are... my off days are Sunday and Monday then i realised I'm too dumb for i have 1 day off lesser than others for this week... I'm so blur man!
i think the job is really interesting and i get to write articles... yes WRITE articles.... well... small articles anyway but they do get publish okay! so do look out for my name if you read Shin Min...
as least SPH computers can type my name!!! whees!!!finally.... I'm glad that my special Chinese name can be typed! muahahaha
I'm going cut out the article and use it for the attachment presentation at the end of the semester=)

HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS ARE FUN!
Yesterday i went out with some drama peeps... while there are only four of us as the rest are either pai tuo-ing or not free... hahaha... but i had lots of fun!! at the end of the day my jaws feel a bit sore from all that laughing.... i only win three rounds yesterday for the rest of them are far too pro for me to beat... and out of the 3 rounds, two of win are won by tyco....
weiqiang very poor thing, keep getting suan by jy and me, but he is a nice guy... hahaha... and jy's new camera is really cool lar!!! much more difficult to use than the school ones... she sure love herself much to buy such an expensive camera... haha... and sze siong... the cool chap... haha... he is the one who talked the least yesterday...
today shall be a day for me to rest at home...

ENJOYING MY HOLIDAYS WHILE IT LAST!
and of course me and vivian with our usual pattern...
the place is really nice!! i especially like the seats!!!
Yeaps!! I have been like going out and spending money this few days and living life to the fullest before the start of my attachment (which is next Monday). I went with Vivian yesterday to shop for a cheap pair of skinny and then meet huijun dearest fro dinner.
Well, the both of us don't know exactly how to go to the place, so we are like some 'headless houseflies' walking around.... and after going there, I have concluded that Peninsula Plaza is one weird place! haha... Going with Vivian to some places we have never gone before makes me feel like a big sister bringing a little sister along even though I'm younger than her by 3 days... haha... although I'm not that street smart, but Vivian is definitely worst than me... wahaha... well... at least she has a good boyfriend to bring her around to places... kekeke...
After that we went to Orchard to meet huijun, poor girl... the kid she tutor went to sleep during the break.... and she has no choice but to end the class early... so we walk around and went to Mogu Mogu, a new restaurant, for dinner! and the place is really cool and the place is really relaxing and quiet... first u need to order your food via a machine and pay using the machine, the it will print out a receipt with the call number.... when the food is ready the people there will call out the number and you need to self service and take the food... i think the food was not bad... hees... then after that we went walking around again and i bought a nice top!!! will wear it on the first day of attachment... =)
of course there is a photo-taking session!!!

SHOPPING!
Had lots of fun shopping with Vivian yesterday!! haha... we had lots to talk about... haha... and also bought somethings!! a pair of shoes and a nice pair of slipper and a nice top... now i need a spaghetti shirt to match the top...
I was so tired at the end of the day that i slept at 10 plus yesterday! haha... must make a habit of sleeping early and waking up early....
Saw shujuan's blog just now.... her latest post with lots of pictures of my classmates and tears flow out uncontrollably... i didn't know i miss them sooo much, and know i did.... somehow, there is a feeling of emptiness in me...

MY SCARF IS DONE!!!
Whees!!! I completed my scarf today!!! and... i made it within a month... well... more like 3 weeks... haha...

Brought fubi to my aunt's shop today... haha... she is really tense when knitting man!!! haha... but she is not bad for a beginner... =)
I've started a new knitting project... will post the photo of it went its done.... but then... it will be quite sometime ba... for i will be having my attachment soon....

ATTACHMENT
I will be attached to SPH (Singapore Press Holdings) from 24th march to 8th august.... haha... but horrors of all horrors I was told that there will be 8 fornightly logs (1000 words each), an intern report (5000 words), abstact summary (1000 words), 末期报告(10,000 words) and a presentation which i need to during the attachment... and i thought i just have to go for attachment only for the five months... oh peiling... you are far too navie... the world is not as simple as you think it was... if only everything was so simple... but then if it was too simple then everyone won't have to fight for the things they want... and life would be too boring and there won't be any sense of achievement... okay okay.. i think i'm out the topic...
Well... anyways... i am in the same department and section as debbie, my project mate in school... i can consider myself lucky as we were the only ones who are together in the same department and also of the same section!! sorry, i don't think i can write much about my intern job so if you are interested you may ask me personally, however there may be somethings i cannot tell for they may be confidential...
第一次当一位实习记者，有很多东西都得学，也没有老师在一旁指示。。。 所谓“读万卷书，不如行万里路”，虽然这道一脚踏入社会的路会有点坎坷，但一定能从中增长见闻！！虽然自己的写作能力不是很强，但在报馆之后， 一定会进步的！希望在这20周，我能够成为一个更成熟，更有责任感的人。。。
我一定要提醒自己，一旦有什么不明白的，要开我的金口问！

RESULTS
Results are out yesteray early in the morning at about 8 plus... haha... i was so worried that i woke up slightly earlier than the ususal.... yaya... peiling always wake up very early.... my GPA drop a little compare to last semester.... results are as follow...

AUGUST RUSH!!!
The main character, Evan Taylor (Freddie Highmore), can hear music in everything around him. He is being raised in an orphanage with no contact with his parents, although he insists that he can "hear" them. Evan believes that the music that he can hear in everything from the wind in wheat fields to the buzzing of electrical lines, is some kind of message from his parents, whom he wants desperately to find.
His parents were a famous concert cellist named Lyla Novacek (Keri Russell), and Louis Connelly (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), an Irish guitarist and lead singer from a rock band. They met and fell in love in one night, but through a series of events, were separated. Late in her pregnancy, Lyla was in a car accident and was told by her father that her child didn't survive. Lyla's father confesses to her on his deathbed that her son lived after all and that he forged her signature on the papers giving the child up to the state.
this is the scene when Lousi met Evan and he didn't know that Evan was his son and they had fun playing music together...
this is the scene when Evan finally get to show the world the music he composed...
this was the scene when his parents, being attracted to his performance, came together....
it is a really cool movie and i recommand everyone to go and watch it if you love music!!!!

As i've predicted, the movie is as good as the trailer! and im glad i went to watch it!!! watch the movie with vivian and her prawn... i must say this musical movie is really quite good!! what added points for it was im actually a person who likes to watch things that has alot of music in it, eg. movies, animes etc... especially those that has instruments such as flute, violin, cello, piano in it.... the songs and pieces in the movie was rather nice too!! and of cause the actors were really good!

BORED!!~~
i so bored these few days!!! i guess i will be getting fat if i keep on eat, sleep, sit the whole day... vivian is also bored at home so... we are going to catch a "August Rush" tomorrow!!! yays!!! finally got one person to watch that movie (the one i put a trailer in my blog) with me!!! and we are going shopping on tuesday too... and i think i will use up my $10 HMV voucher which i've won during the farewell party....

i guess i can say that i am making a huge progress.... from nothing into something... and yes i sit in front of my laptop to knit so i can watch anime and msn at the same time! hahaha..... girls are good at multi-tasking!!!!

IM GOING TO KNIT MYSELF A SCARF!!
just came back from my 2nd aunt's shop ... and she sponsored some yarn and a knitting needle for me to knit my own scarf! hahaha... and i so love the colour of the wool i chose!

nice right??? i shall knit it all by myself without any help and my target is to finish it in one month's time! so.... i shall hurry up with it and try to do as much as possible before my attachment starts!!
well... i've learnt how to knit when i was primary 6 after my PSLE and i used to go to my aunt's shop everyday... hees... but i am not that pro of cause, i only know the basics....
as my aunt is closing her shop soon, she is selling her cross-stitch stuffs CHEAP at HALF PRICE!!! which is lower than the cost price!!! so, interested people please contact me!!! the cross-stitch are really cute, there are precious moments, disney characters, winnie the pooh etc.... you can sms me, tag me or msn me!!!! =)

I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!
cool huh???
i am so proud of myself for vacuuming and mopping the the floor of my house today!!!! even though my hands are abit tired but i still wan to announce it to the whole world!!! yaya... maybe some aunties who do cleaning everyday will just mumble to themselves "whats the big, fat deal??" the deal is a lazy bum bum like me is finally doing some cleaning up!!
actually, its my mummy who makes me do it.... since i am being a good for nothing at home not doing anything except sitting in from of the laptop watch animes, chatting and stuffs... and she thinks i should make myself useful....
its really troublesome to do it at first but after finishing it, you will feel as if you've have exercise... so its not a bad feeling afterall since i feeling quite refresh now... hees... i guess the cleaning do help me burn up some of my calories for im perspiring now...
look at the floor!! its so clean and shiny that you can see reflections on it!!! hahahaha!
since i have not been blogging about my life, i shall start with the two attachment interviews i went to... what makes an interview enjoyable is when the interviewers are nice and have a tinge of humour in them and i can say i am a lucky girl cos the two interviews(mediacorp radio chinese news & SPH) i went, the interviewers are nice.... haha... even though for the SPH interview there are about 8 people interviewing me... i did not feel scared at all as they were all nice and friendly even though they have interviewed many people before it was my turn. i hope my attachement will turn out well... well... frankly speaking, i am really not looking forward to it though.... maybe there some interesting things will happen....
and i went to watch 'meet the spartens' on monday with yufeng.... and the movie was really lousy.... i will recommand it to those people who have too much money to spend and they want to waste their time to watch....
and i saw a trailer of a movie which looks really cool! the trailer is below!!
kindly wait for my music to stop before watching it as i am not sure of how to stop it.... hees...

一天有個年輕人來到王頭家的店裡買了一件禮物，這件禮物成本是18元，標價是21元。 結果是這個年輕人掏出100元要買這件禮物。 王頭家當時沒有零錢，用那100元向街坊換了100元的零錢，找給年輕人79元。 但是街坊後來發現那100元是假鈔，王頭家無奈還了街坊100元。
現下問題是︰王頭家在這次交易中到底損失了多少錢???
