Hi, my name is Pei Ling, you can also call me Perlyn. I am 20 years old and horoscope aries.

SINGAPORE PHILATELIC MUSEUM IS SO COOL!!!
First, let me explain what is this museum about....
Singapore Philatetic Museum is a museum which showcases Singapore's collection of stamps, philatelic materials, and postal history artefacts dating back to the Straits Settlements as well as the rare collections of private collectors.
okay... not that everyone will be interested in what is it about... but the main point is, i went there yesterday to do a writeup on the museum's new exibition and.... guess what? they offered to take my picture and make it into a stamp!!! well... it's stamps with an 's' at the back...
cool huh?? and the PR says i can use it... but... use for what? so cool... must keep de!!! anyways, the place im standing is in front of the museum and the sun is like shining so brightly lar!! and i have to try my hardest to keep my eyes opened but then i fail... my eyes were really small... eeks!!!
the new exibition was really good, its about stamps from china and there is a very rare stamp which is china's first offical stamp in the qing dynasty... those interested in china's history can go for the changes in stamps also shows how china progress....
Tomorrow i have half day off!!!

SUAY WEEK
This week has not been smooth for me.... other than a threatened of lawsuit, other things also happen, shall not mention them... just say that it's because im too careless?
There is this saying that you have to be down on luck thrice before good luck comes... for me, I think it is really true... but how long will this good luck last, I shall see how...
Weird... bad things always come together for me... guess I'm down of luck lately... probably need some charm or something... haha...
well... at least there is something not so bad afterall! I FINISHED MY LAST FORNIGHTLY LOG!!! hahaha... the contents of the first log to the last one, if I put it up as a graph, it will be like this...
I find that i had nothing much to write as the log is coming to the end... guess many people do feel this way too, cause I doing the similar things almost everyday and there is not much exciting things happening...
good news is that i have 2 more attachment weeks left!!! which is 9 more working days minus-ing the off days!!! woohoo!!!!

BAD DAY
I knew today wasn't going to be that fantastic the moment I woke up... and it happened to be the weather i dislike... and things were not that smooth after that...
the rain so rather heavy and my shoes were wet and the rain splashed on the bottom of the pants...
then i had to go out for a job but in the end it was still okay and the worst had yet to come...
apparently there is one interviewee is unhappy one article with my name as byline...
and I'm probably going to get sued... and I'm not kidding at all...
apparently my supervisors was not really shocked when i told them about it... maybe they are used to it?
I'm just want to end my attachment smoothly.... Hope nothing bad happens....

13 more days!!!
Call me superstitious, but i don't like the number 13. In fact, it's best that I will have nothing to do with it.... even when pooling, i will try to get myself to play the solid colour cause of some reasons, ball no. 13 just refused to go in for me.... and I call it the 'ti ki' (means stubborn in hokkien) ball.... hmmph!
but for now, 13 doesn't seem to bad afterall! I have 13 more days of attachment days left!!! WOOHOO!!! I am in need of a holiday man!!!
Last day of attachment is indeed the moment for celebration!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!
Guess what??? I woke up at 11.20am today!! *gasps* For the first time I got up so late and somemore at this hour... The funny thing is I woke up the moment it rains this morning, if it didn't rain, i guess i will probably sleep until noon?
My eyes opened the moment i heard the sound of the rain.... then I reach for my spectacles (my eyesight is too bad that i cannot live without spectables....) and the look at my handphone for the time... I stared..... then i rub my eyes and stared... and the time is still the same. When i recovered, i went to brush my teeth and then I'm here to blog...
It kinda feel very weird now... i keep thinking it was 9 plus now... I guess I am not used to wakeing up late... feels like i lost half a day already.... wasted! half of my off day is gone while I'm in lala-land hopping around, probably playing with some bunnies...
Oh dear.... I broke my proud record of sleeping early.... I always like to tell people i wake up early in the morning....
well... half a day left and I'm not gonna waste it! =)

FUN DAY!
Today was a fun day with jiaying and weiqiang!! even though i did not manage to get the free contacts cos my eyes wear a bit dry and the contacts is too tight for my right eye... maybe that was why when i last time wear contacts, it also feel a bit dry and it feels like there is something in my eyes... (for most people, there feel nothing when wearing contacts)
Nevertheless, i still got a thorough eye checkup and... as i expected... my eyesight got poorer than ever and my degrees got higher... but luckily by a bit... then good news is that the shang guang decrease by a bit but on the whole still alot... I'm not going to disclose the numbers for i think to me it rather embarrassing to have such high degrees... feel rather shameful sia as it shows that i did not take good care of my eyes... which i didn't =X
From now on i got to take care of my eyes and let it rest, so don't be surprise if you don't see me online! well... maybe i will blog but not msn... haha!
Okays... back to my day! today i went to watch 赤壁with jiaying and weiqiang and then we went for pool... last Sunday we went to watch Wanted and it was not bad, quite nice...
Back to 赤壁... at first i thought it was some cheena movie and will be very chim and hard to understand... but then i was wrong... in fact, it was quite good! you don't have to know china history to understand the show! and there were some humorous parts in the show and they were not lame at all! frankly speaking, as a Chinese studies student i actually don really know much about the 3 kingdom cause i did not really read it, but i like the show... i think it is better than Wanted... I enjoyed it!
If the 2nd part comes out when i am in china, i am so going to watch it there!

OFF DAY TML!
was feeling quite stress last week as there were tons to do and i worked overtime and went home late... and i did not get a chance to go home with vivian... but... i managed to go home with her yesterday and today!! wahaha!
going home with vivian is fun! cause we will chit chat (sometimes loudly) thoughout the whole journey... and we gossip the whole ride home not caring about anyone who may be staring at us... haha! somehow, the 1hour plus trip home seemed shorter with her... haha... and our talks will always stop when she reached her stop.. well, i think... if we have ample time, we surely can talk non-stop until our voices turn hoarse... LOL!
oh dear! when we go china we will be 两个女人一个超级大巴刹! ehs... people who will be staying next door to us please bear with us! hahaha!
yays! tomorrow is my off day!!! and i will be helping boon choon... haha... be her guinea pig for checking eyes for contacts... maybe i can get a free pair of monthly contacts! it has been about a year since i've wear contacts... forgot the feel of wearing them... haha!
other than that i guess i will be free the whole day! haiz... wanted to go sentosa with friends but then only jiaying, weiqiang and me available... maybe we will do some other things... if not, i will probably slack the whole day and 补回我的元气！
i have a free half day which i can make up for tuesday cause i went for a night job... want to use it on sunday... but supervisor wasn't around these few days and cannot ask her... haiz... guess i will send an sms to her tomorrow...

Monday, 30th june, is a farewell meal for Simin, a collegue at SPH. Somehow, it is also a first SPH gathering with the other Shin Min collegues...
We went to a resturant at 海京楼 near Toa Payoh HDB Hub, famous for its Taiwan porridge.

Base on the picture, some of you will most probably guess that the main character of the day is the one in the middle wearing light purple... but.... you are so wrong!!! She is the girl in pink in the back row, beside me!!
We had a farewell meal for her and somehow she is not in the limelight.... LOL!
I came to a realisation while looking at the photo, almost all of the 'organsations' I'm into, its always 阴盛阳衰... let me give some examples...
Primary school: I was in choir for 3years and chinese club for 1 year and there weren't many guys.
Secondary school: I was in CLDDS and Drama Club for a total of 4 years and there were always more girls than guys.
Polytechnic: I am in Chinese Studies and there is only one guy in my class. My cca, Stageart Group (SAG) also have little guys.
SPH: For my department, Out of a group of reporters, only 4 guys...
I am not a despo but somehow it's just weird that the ratio has too much a big difference.... is it because the chances of having girls is higher than having boys? or is it because the 'organisations' i am in is too girlie to have guys? but its not what!!!

PLENTY TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!!
Yippees!!! There is plenty of things and activites for me to look forward too in these few days!!!
1. K-session with secondary drama peeps on saturday!!! The last session was like last year to celebrate mdm ng's bdae... which was like ages ago!!! Changed to next saturday which i cannot make it but i can still meet them for dinner =) at least there are other things to look forward to!
2. My friends all coming back from zhe jiang on this sunday!!! yays!!! looking forward to meeting them, lets go chill out!!!
3. Since kind soul datou is coming back, i will get my new thumdrive too!!! wahaha!!! and its red, looking forward to get it man!! hahaha... thanks gal!!! *hugs*
4. Since datou is coming back, im looking forward to meeting her too!!! hahaha... im sure we have tons of things to talk about... hahaha... did not talk to her for 4 whole months, one day meeting is probably not enough!

WHAT'S DONE IS ALREADY DONE....
yesterday night my thumbdrive was corrupted, i can view all the folders in my thumbdriver but cannot open them....
this morning i went to work, wanting to try to see whether the office computer is able to view my files and it became worst! the computer can detect the removable disc but when i double click it, a window appear asking me to insert a disc.... faints!
somemore i cannot even reformat my thumbdrive now... it is offically DEAD!!! *wails*
since everything is gone... my almost finished article is gone too! and i had to redo them again today.... well... luckily i am able to finish it, if not i don't know what will happen....
yesterday i was so pissed off that i went to bed after i finished blogging... damn early lar! but sleeping early is good... cause i wasn't as pissed of the next day =)
i think my thumbdrive did put up a good fight though... cause i sent it to a whirlpool ride in the washing machine about 2 years ago? and it was still workable... haha....
now i need a brand new thumbdrive! any nice soul buying for me??

DAMMIT!!!
what the hell!?!??!?!? my thumbdrive got corrupted!!!!!! freak!!!
i always bring my thumbdrive home so that i can do my work at home... and now it got corrupted! and i cannot open any files!!!! freaking pissed off now!!!! somemore the deadline is tomorrow!!!!!!!!
nobody can ever be suay-er than me sia...
i just downloaded a pdf file from a PR and i think it's the file that corrupted my thumbdrive! eeks!!! maybe i will try to use the SPH com at work tomorrow to see if i can open it... if not i got to redo everything... yes everything!!! again!!!!!
somehow, i got the feeling that i will have to redo the bloody thing... wahlau... my afternoon is wasted away!!!!
