Hi, my name is Pei Ling, you can also call me Perlyn. I am 20 years old and horoscope aries.

By the way I am not tall, so don't mention it too much in front of me. If you are good in mathematics, don't ever try and count the number of pimples in my face.

I am super blur and am stubborn at times, and sometimes I may also seem to be rather quick-witted. I am mostly nice so don't get on my nerves too much. One bad thing about me is my sharp tongue, so try not to take to heart with everything I say.

I am a person who value friendship, I treasure all the times with my friends. If you can accept the way I am, I'm sure we can be really good friends!

COMPUTER CRASHED DUE TO ITCHY HANDS

My laptop crashed on Monday, not because of any virus, but because I deleted some system files on the day before...

I guess i deserve a smack on my face man!

But how am I suppose to know that I am not suppose to delete them?!?!

Who ask them to appear blur-ish and I thought they were some virus?!!?

Lesson learned. Blur files are hidden files and I am not suppose and should never delete them ever again.

Lady luck is still smiling on my side! I only need to reformat my C drive and the files in my D file are still there safe and sound. And I still managed to install Microsoft, photoshop, dreamweaver, flash again! Thank goodness, I am still able to have my favourite photoshop!

Reminder to all computer idiots out there who are goong goong like me! Always consult a computer expert if you find anything wrong with your computer, not matter how silly the problem is! (Example: I can't think of anything yet, have not done any other silly things other than this.)

And! I "permed" my hair!!!

However, this is not achieved through using curler. I tied a bun on my head a few days ago and at the end of the day, I let down my hair and poof!! CURLS!

So I put on a hairband, adjusted my hair and smile for a picture!

Anyone who wanted to perm hair and don't know it is suitable for you can try this method.

Note: This method is not for guys and girls with short hair. In order to try this, please grow your hair.

I am going to Beijing tonight!!!!!!!!!

Miss me while I'm gone, will not be able to blog for 4 days.

Shopping Spree!!!

Retail therapy rocks!!!

For the first time of the day, I spent 200 rmb on shopping! But, if you convert it to Singapore dollars, it is nothing man.

Now that I think about it, in Singapore, I can shop the whole day just to buy an item. At here, anything that catches my eyes, which has an okay quality and in an acceptable price, I will surely buy it. Below are my yesterday buys!

I love this hairband!

Gifts for people!
Thermal wear to brace the cold weather.
Cute watch and a bracelet for my sister (I like it alot sia! feel like keeping it sia!)

Colourful earrings! Always wanted one!
Saw this bag from far away! 越看越有味道!

Purple shoes!!! It got dirty today due to the rain...

Wanyuan came by just now and say that I always put my items on the bed and take pictures. LOL! my table too squeezy le, so have to use the bed.
The western food tradition here is weird, those served on hotplate will be given a cloth to block the sauce from splatting onto you.

See the smoke....

Am going to sleep now, more photos will be up soon!!! Too tired now....

Goodnight!

Loves,

Ling =)

9°C ?!?!?!?

My daily computer routine is checking my blog, nuffnang, email and weather forcast of Wuhan. So while surfing the usual sites, I saw this....

Tonight's temperature is going to be 9°C!!!

The autumn here is very weird. There can be 2 or 3 days of warm days (20°C to 27°C) in between the cool days, and summer clothes will be of use again.

I guess, the weather will remain cool until winter now... bye bye warm days...

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

These few days whenever people come by my blog eagerly, expecting to see any new post will always close the window in despair for there is no updates....

Readers: Pei Ling please wake up, your blog is not as popular as you think it is. Stop BHB-ing liao lor! Go Wuhan still cannot change your self praise habit... tsk tsk tsk!

Okays, I'm dreaming. But, a person still can dream ma! 所谓:有梦才有希望嘛... Of cause, I am not aiming to be a blogger, but it feels good when there are alot of people viewing your site.

Been rather busy lately and homework are gushing in like water (I am exaggerating) and also weekly read ups to do. Having lack of sleep. (To me, not sleeping 8 hours per day = not enough sleep)

Now there are lesser shopping time... =(

Tried 冰糖葫芦 yesterday! And I like the fruits one! Whenever I watched those 古装戏, this candy is always present and looks so delicious and yummy that I cannot help but swallow my saliva (Note: I am exaggerating again).

Love 冰糖葫芦!!! I got a sweet tooth! and... maybe a salty tooth at the same time...

I miss Singapore! Wait for me, I will be back in 3 months time!!!

WHAT DO BORED ROOMMATES DO?

Answer: They camwhored.

It started out when I asked Vivian to take a picture of me because I like my outfit on that day... And somehow, it became a cam-whoring session. Below are some of the pictures we took!

I think this is the best picture of me so far man! haha! Love this picture alot!

I slept at 2am yesterday because of this...

The four girls each bought a bottle of nail polish at the price of 1rmb and painted our nails. And after that is chit chat all the way! Man, a bunch of girls really can talk much!

PICTURES!!!

As promised, here are the pictures!!!

FRIDAY:

We (me, vivian, debbie, huiwen, dylan, junjie, wanyuan, yanmin, yaxin, nicole, dingxuan) went to shop at 广八路 which is near our school! haha! It is kind of unexpected to see the 11 of us when shopping together. I guess being in another country really make us get together, and I am glad cause everyday was filled with laughter with my newly formed clique (the usual 8 person, which is the ones above minus-ing the last three person).

Yesterday while talking to Vivian, I was wondering how the eight of us came together. It is hard to explain but somehow we had our roommates who are close to another friend of another room and this friendship web finally end with the eight of us bond together. Somehow we cannot have our meals (mainly lunch) without each other and we go around in big groups. As we see each other everyday, it is no wonder we can get real close very fast! I think I will miss my life here in Wuhan once I go back, not the temperature, environment and studies of cause, but of the days we spent together with each other, crapping, joking, suaning and bitching around.

Okays, stop all those emo-ing and get back on track... haha... pictures below!~

In the evening, we went to some BBQ restaurant to have our dinner...

The ambiance was okay, the waiter was very polite but the food sucks to the core! Except...

These two dishes... Nevermind about the food! More pictures please!!!

After which, we went to an ice-cream shop to have some nice ice-cream and it liven up our mood.

SATURDAY:

The sushi restaurant which yaxin bought us to is nice!

To tell the truth, I have not eaten sashimi before until last saturday, was never a fan of raw food anyway. And I think the taste was not bad... I want to go back to the place again!

In case some of you do not know, Junjie left us to shop on our own and went to get his hair permed! He is the second one in our class to perm his hair, the first one was yufung...

We got a shock when we saw him cause it looked different, but after awhile, it was okay. He was so proud of his hair that he kept cam-whoring lor! No other guy can be as zi lian as him liao. This hairstyle cost him about 67 rmb.

**There is a taobao disease going around, some already got the taobao fever!**

TWO KLUTZ MAKES A BIGGER KLUTZ!

What happens when you put two klutz together? Answer: They will start to do some silly things one day.

Last Friday and Saturday was... hmmm... how do I say it... it's definitely not terrible, not lame, maybe somewhat embarrassing but... very funny, idiotic and super 狼狈!

So what exactly happen?!?!?!t

Well... the story goes like this...

Friday night, when me and Vivian came back home after a round of shopping, we decided to bring our clothes to the washing room to use the washing machine. If you are wondering, the both of us decided to use the washing machine because we are tired of hand washing our one week worth of clothes.

And of cause there are some clothes which is not advisable to be put together into the washing machine. So I hand washed them. And then suddenly realised that we actually bought softener instead of detergent to wash all our clothes?!?!?!

Actually, a few days ago when we started to use the new bottle of "detergent", I already realised there is something wrong with it cause it was not soapy at all. But the both of us thought it is because we bought a cheaper detergent that's why the quality is different.

This is not the end of our silliness. At about 12.15am, we went down to collect our clothes. But the door would not be opened! Vivian tried too, but the door still remained close. We wanted to get the reception person to open the door for us but there was some theft problem and the person was a bit busy, and so we decided to wait.

Within this 45 minutes of waiting time and a weird black man started to talk to us sia! After chatting for a while, he ask for our names. Then he ask for our handphone numbers, but i said that my China number is too long, I cannot remember. The he ask for our room number, but I never tell him, just said that I live 8th floor. Then he say:"那我想见到你们怎么办呢?"

Luckily at this moment Chengyao came along and I waved to him with glee! Our saviour! Then we ignore the black man and chat with him... hahaha! luckily he after that went away liao...

The after that Chengyao helped us to get the reception man to unlock the washing room door for us but it turn out that the washing room was not locked in the first place! Like so paiseh lor! Somemore the reception men open it without any difficulties...

The next day was a rainy day, but we still went out... everytime we need to go to a shop, we have to close the umbrella. And when we want to get out of it, we got to open our umbrella again to walk the streets. I did not bring my umbrella to Wuhan, so I share with Vivian. Due to countless of opening and closing, the umbrella decides to die on that day. We wanted to buy new ones, but we don't like the way in which the umbrella will turn upwards. As such, we had to carry that spoilt umbrella around...

So 狼狈咯!!!

Moral of the story: Do not put two sillys together, or else be prepared to laugh until stomach ache everytime!

p/s: Debbie already abit cannot tahan our funny stuffs le! LOL!

Preview: Next post will be pictures on the two days I mentioned above. Stay tune!

Loves,

Ling =)

RANDOM

HumanForSale.com - Online Quizzes

Oh dear! I'm only worth about 2 million... How much are you worth? Do share with me!

By the way, do you guys remember this fruit? Apparently, dearest ling has the poorest memory and forgot to post the answer after so many days!

This is actually an apple! Or so I think it is... I thought it was a pear when I bought it from the supermarket. Thinking it was a pear i happily took a bite of it and I thought " Oh my, this pear taste exactly like any apple!"

Then i took another bite and confirmed that it is actually an apple! Seen a yellow apple before? Not me, this is my first time seeing it, guess there is no such fruit in Singapore. But man, this apple taste really sweet and is juicy and crunchy too!

Just ate a small apple (and this definitely taste like an apple and not a pear...) and I love small apple, not only are they cute, you can easily finish it even if you are full!

I do eat fruits regularly here in china to make such I go to the toilet everyday! I do live a healthy lifestyle here.

Weekends are coming! Woohoo!!! Will be going to Beijing at the end of October! Looking forward to it, but not the 游记 which I need to complete after the trip...

Shall stop here today!

Loves,

Ling =)

CONTINUE...

Yoyo! For the last post I stopped at Thursday on my one week worth of holidays, so now is the continuation of the rest of it.

FRIDAY:

Before I talk about this day, let me talk about the school gates. The huge school has 4 gates, namely the 东门,北门,南门,西门。

So, we went to some IT building (nickname Funan IT mall) as Huiwen wanted to buy a microphone for her laptop. This building is near 北门.

After that, we went back to the school and wanted to visit the shops near 东门. But we are too lazy to walk around the school, so we took a school shuttle bus. All you have to do is to pay 1 yuen for the ride. Here it is!

Vivian sat near to the driver seat. If you noticed, the driver seat and the roads in China is the opposite of Singapore.

My view, in the middle behind the driver's seat.

Me and Debbie! My SPH Shin Min mate! I realised we have nose of the similar shape!

This is also 老鼠街 but not the usual place which I go to at 汉口. It is a mini shopping area. I call it 迷你老鼠街.

I am definately going back there! Bought a zebra stripe tote bag for 20 rmb. And I saw a very interesting cross stitch! Can make into a wallet, do the cross stitch first then sew all the pieces together! Damn chio lor! I'm so going to buy it and make it and use it!

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:

Ping pong days... Table tennis is fun and a cheap form of entertainment other than then the 50 television channels, shopping and surfing net.

This is only on the holidays! More updates to come!

Love,

Ling=)

SHUCKS!!! ITS SATURDAY ALREADY!!!

This is the first thing i said to Vivian (in Chinese) the moment I woke up today... sad... holidays are like that, before you knew it, is coming to an end soon. Let me recount on what i did the pass few weeks....

MONDAY:

Doing nothing, was in my room the whole day.

TUESDAY:

Roaming some streets near our school and went to the supermarket to stock up on our daily necessities. We intended to make Wednesday our supermarket day but since we bought the things earlier, its shopping day the next day! and...

WEDNESDAY:

We went to the 批发广场 and 老鼠街 again at the 汉口. This time, we took a public bus there! It cost 2 yuen for a ride.

And the cardigans are super cheap here! for a normal patternless cardigan, its 25 yuen each! and the material is quite thick too! In Singapore, the cheapest you can find is 10 bucks and it won't be as thick! I bought 2 of them, a black and a bright Indian blue colour... Guess, I will go back to the same shop again!

Next I bought a pair of leggings at 15 rmb and they are those thick ones! cool! can wear them when I'm tired of my wearing my jeans!

I have reduced on my shopping as I have enough clothes already, but there is more to be done when winter is coming....

During the trip, We got hungry halfway and decided to buy buns! My, the buns are good! especially the one I bought, the soup juice will fill up your mouth when you took the first bite. Be careful though, the juice will get onto your clothes. It got onto Vivian's, Debbie's and mine clothes...

Left to right: Dylan, me, yanmin, huiwen. They are part the clique which I hang out with everyday.

Next, at night, while we waited for junjie to come and find us at 老鼠街, huiwen decided to try out some smelly tofu 臭豆腐! This name is like durian, either you love it or you dislike it.

let me try some... the tofu is a bit smelly when it neared your mouth, but when you eat it, you won't feel that its smelliness. In fact, the taste is not bad at all...

THURSDAY:

Weather is warmer today! Its short sleeve top day! temperature about 25 to 20°C We decided to go to 户部巷which our teacher introduced to have some 小吃. We meet up as early as 8am to go there as the 小吃 place is until 10am... and this is it!

and there are plenty of food stalls along the street.

and we walked into this place for our breakfast!

many food stalls!!! let's have some chicken wing!

Me posing a photo with yanmin's noodle. =)

yan min fed huiwen with some noodles who in turn...

fed me with some lamb meat.

Junjie is chewing onto his piece of lame meat... hard to see him in this expression right?? LOL!

and some soy bean!!! i miss the soy bean milk in Singapore!

Hui wen bought some candy floss! and it is bigger than her face and much more fluffy than the ones you see in Singapore!

After the breakfast, we went back to nap and then in the evening, we decided to try playing table tennis and we got addicted out of which, junjie got the most severe addiction...

This is only part of the holiday you have seen, there are more to come!

STAY TUNE!~
