K-BOX AGAIN??

It's the Flowers (full force) and Wei Hao K-box outing yesterday!

Initially, we wanted to go kite-flying, but due to the unpredictable weather, we decided that it is better for us to have our activity somewhere indoors. So here we are!

We met early for lunch at MOF!

After which we headed to buy Koi, I have never tried it before. It taste okay, but not as sweet as Sweet Talk.

我们是八人帮！

Had a gathering with 八人帮 yesterday! well... only six are around. We called ourselves 八人帮 as we are the group of people who hang out together during our days in Wuhan, China. It was fun catching up with them! Compared to our first gathering after the China trip, we have become more cheerful. I guess that is because we are clear with our directions in life.

We went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. The food is really nice! Each of us is given a bowl of sesame to grind into powder.

Me happily grinding sesame. =)

After the meal, we went to Coffee Club to chill. But, I ordered soda instead. It is really a refreshing drink. Green apple flavour with mint taste.

Will be meeting them again next Sunday!! Looking forward to it! =))

Frankly speaking, I am not a happy person like I often seem to be. I can be smiling the whole day, and yet few of them could be genuine. Yes, I joked alot. But that doesn't mean that I am really how I portrayed myself to be. Sometimes I wonder, am I using jokes as a veil to protect myself or as a shield to separate my mind from all my troubles？

OUT WITH FLOWERS

Had lunch with Hui Mei, Yue Lian and Shu Wen at Secret Recipe in Marina Square yesterday!

We wanted to have a K-session after lunch but due to some unforeseen circumstances we didn't. We played pool and went arcade instead.

Had fun with the girls!! Yue Lian couldn't stop snapping pictures throughout the whole process, we said that she was possessed by Vivian! haha!

SECONDARY SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Followed 3 CTs for a week and my favourite CT gave me a book as a farewell gift!!!! I like it alot!!

And so.... I 礼尚往来 a made 3 little gifts for all my CTs!

Oberservation at a secondary was a fruitful experience but after a week of it, I am glad that I chose Primary track! The little kids are sooo much cuter and quieter! But I am very impressed by the amount of patience and passion my CTs had for teaching, especially those who taught normal acadameic and normal tech! I guess that is something which I have to learn.

The whole is very small again... I saw my Secondary School classmate, Meera, there!! But she is in Year 2 already becasue she went JC.

Back to having holidays! Can't wait for kite flying with flowers!

BACK TO SAG

Went back to Ngee Ann to watch a SAG performance at LT26, the show really has many rooms for improvement.

But the main thing is I get to see the SAG girls! I missed the girls more than SAG! Even though it was for a short while, but I had fun catching up with them! =)

AFTER ONE WEEK

Today is the last day of school experience in a primary. I quite like the school, the teachers there are nice and friendly. And I think benefited quite a lot as I follow a different CT each day for their lessons. I had a chance to see all the different types of classes and different teaching styles.

I hope my school experience for a secondary school will be as good. And most importantly, I hope the timetable will be good and give time to get home in time to register my course! *cross my fingers~~*

SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

It was my first day of school experience today and it went quite smoothly, not as bad as i thought!

I reported to the school at 9am in the morning. Yes, you did not read wrongly, 9am is the morning! What a weird tining! And I did not have any induction prior to the school experience. So you can imagine how worried I was, I thought that maybe the school that forgotten about me.

Thank goodness, they did not. And I really like the time-table! It's like I have to report at 9.25am and can go home at 3.55pm. Great! I can take my own sweet time in the morning. I am always slow in the morning, I usually stay nearly half an hour in the bathroom. =))

Anyway, there is something I want to say!! No matter how many times I've said it, I still want to say it!! THE WORLD IS INDEED SMALL!! Why so? This morning while chatting with an NIE trainee who was posted to the same school, I found out that she is living in the same block as me!!! and 3 floors above me!!!! It's like she is living so near but I have not seen her before!!!! Now I got someone to go to school experience and back home (literally) with! =))

UPDATE:
And guess what?? There is another NIE trainee who is my primary 6 classmate!!!! It's like we met again after such a long time!

K-SESSION WITH THE GIRLS!

It is the first time i go out since dad's operation. Had a singing session with 2/3 of the flowers yesterday (Cause 2 of them are missing). It is a good way to release all the stress accumulated in me in the previous weeks. Felt refreshed after the 'therapy', sang for about 4 hours for just 8 bucks!!! Definitely must go before the promotion finish!

A WALK WITH MUM

Had a walk with mum this morning to bangkit (where I lived until the age of 12) to have breakfast and accompany her to buy ingredients for dinner. In case you don't know where bangkit is, it is about 4 bus-stops away from the area which I live, approximately 20 minutes walk.

It is one of the rare moments when I can have proper chats with her without suffering from her naggings. I really enjoyed it. And after buying all the things, she suggested walking back home. I agreed readily. Reason: to burn off the extra calories consumed (Had 2 pratas and hot milk tea for breakfast today). Haha!

I MISS SCHOOL

Having such a long holiday makes me miss schooling. Not that I like exams and assignments but I miss seeing the flowers and the silly jokes we always come up with, like our group name, nicknames for each other and all the endless teasing.

SOME UPDATES...

Ever since the holidays, other than the days which I have to accompany dad to the hospital, the rest of the days are mostly spent at home. I've thought alot of revamping my blog but had done nothing since... =( Aiya, I will get to it someday lar... haha.

Staying at home too much is not good for health. So last last Friday, I asked Vivian out! Had fun buying stuffs to wear for the school experience and we chatted alot. After which we meet up with yufung and Jeremy for dinner. It is great chatting with friends.

Had Meranti last Monday and Tuesday, it wasn't as bad as I thought. In fact, it was much more interesting. Initially, I thought that it will be boring and I will be wasting my time away. But after attending it, I did gain some new insights which I think is beneficial for me in the future.

Went to Miao's house last Wednesday to collect my skirt. I suddenly came up with the idea of visiting my friends since they live so near. I really like the swing in her room. =)

Dad is going for his operation ~~tomorrow~~ Friday (Change again -_-) *Cross fingers* Hope there will be no implications and he will have a speedy recovery.

I shall be optimistic! =))

Daddy, 加油！！！

Tomorrow is the day of his operation. Thank goodness there is no blockages in his blood vessel and he won't have to do additional bypass operation. According to the doctors, the risk of the operation is 5% to 7% and throughout the operation he may have 2%-3% chance of stroke.

Last week, miao asked me whether I am worried about it. I replied that it is still days away. To be honest, I am scared. I was just trying not to think about it.

Yesterday, I asked daddy whether he is afraid. He answered, 顺其自然。True, since it is decided that there is a need for the operation, we should have faith in the outcome.

TOO FREE

It's holidays!!!!~~~

Last Thursday was my last paper and the flowers went to kbox after that!!! There is a promotion and its 8 bucks nett!!! Had lots of fun with the flowers though my voice sound croaky that day.

Did nothing much this one week after exams except going to Soon Yang's birthday celebration and accompanying dad to the hospital for checkup because of the swell on his right cheek. Thanks goodness the swell went away and there is no tumour or cancer cells, according to the doctor it is just inflammation. =)) Hope everything will go well for his operation too!

WHEN LING TURN 21!

Well...it happened 10 days ago... but I was either too busy or too sick to blog...

Anyways, April has always been a very special month to me as it is the month where i celebrated the day of my birth. However, it is different this year as I got planned my first-ever birthday party!!! Even though it happened like 10 days ago, I am still excited at the mention of my own party!

Let me sidetrack a little, another reason that makes April so special is because one of my best friend, Vivi's birthday is only 3 days apart from mine!! How cool is it to have a friend is as excited as you on this very special month?! She had a birthday party one week earlier than me and it was fun! Because, I know most of the people there! And it was very funny during the picture taking time as I was in most of the friends groups!

Okay, lets hop back to the topic of my birthday. =))

RETAIL THERAPY!

Went shopping for clothes with miao yesterday, and came home with four new items to add to my wardrobe. I seriously need that therapy lor! So long never go shopping liao, so no life! Even miao says she is amazed by the amount of things I got yestersay, usually I only bought at most 2 items.

And I got something to wear for my birthday party! My first ever romper! It is my favourite outfit out of the rest!

(Note: Pardon me if I'm putting too many exclaimation marks as if I'm exclaiming thoughout the blogging procress, I'm having such a good mood that I can't help it! )

And I got my balloons and stuffs, nothing fanciful.

After which, we went to Soup Spoon to have our dinner. Not bad actually! And it was the only time when we finally can rest and chat and take pictures!

Okay, that's it!

Better do some homework now before Vivian's 21st party!!!! Looking forward to it!!!~~~

SURPRISE!

I love surprises, especially when giving others surprises! Yesterday was Yue Lian's birthday (same as my sis!) and the flowers decided that none of us will wish her happy birthday because we wanted her to think that we forgotten her birthday. We actually have some plan for her!

During class, Vivian did a presentation and the last slide of the presentation is this!!!
And the whole class sang birthday song for her!!! hahaha! Yue Lian said she was more shocked than surprise lor!

After lesson, the five flowers and kah neng went to bakerzin to celebrate!

I LOVE DAISO!!!!

This post may make me seem like an auntie, but heck! Daiso is where I get all the cheap and nice stuffs!

Went to IMM yesterday with Vivian, and Daiso is where i bought the most items, a total of 12 of them!

Below are some of the catches:

A container to put in my drawer, helps in organizing my stuffs.

An absolutely adorable door knob cover, me and Vivian just to have it! It matches well with my green door!

This is the main purpose for going to Daiso, a notice board! Look at the flower pins, they are cute!

I just had to buy this sweet, all flavour taste real good except chocolate, taste normal.

This is a very yummy tidbit! And the packaging is cute too!

Daiso rocks!

P/S: I going to work on a secret project, shall reveal it when it's done!

BLOODY UNHELPFUL SALES ASSISTANT!

Can't help having 2nd post a day! What a miracle for somebody who has not blogged for the past few weeks! Reason: I am pissed!

Just this afternoon after school, me, Vivian, Hui Mei went to Lot One. We went inside a comics connection store and saw something which we want to buy. However, we needed help getting it out. Hence, we look around and see there is any sales assistant which can help us. We saw a fat and short man, most likely to be in his thirties, wearing a black polo Tee who seem to be a sales assistant, but we were unsure as there wasn't any logo on his shirt. Note, he was near enough to hear our conversation. When he passed by us, I saw the store logo on the man's sleeve. So I asked him politely to help us take out the item we want.

Me: Can you help us take out this?
Fat man: I thought you don't know I am the sales person?
Me: But you should have helped us what. (Meaning I know he heard our conversation and should have offered help)
Fat man: (Said something but I could not remember but was rude.)

Super pissed of lor! And he still got the cheek to say that he knew we don't know that he is the salesperson. Obviously he heard our conversation and when he was very near us! He should have offered to help IMMEDIATELY WHAT!!!! Instead of letting us waste our time to look for help! Hello? We are the customers leh! Without us (customers), where can you bloody get your salary from?? You think money drop from the sky arh? If it really does drop, I hope it smack right onto your head!

I would not be that pissed if:

Scenario 1 - Heard our conversation on whether he is the sales assistant and immediately turn to us and say, "Yes, I am. Do you need any help?" Problem solved! Customer is very satisfied.

Scenario 2 - Wait for us to call him. When we ask for help, immediately do so without making any sickening comments. Customer satisfied too but will not as pleased as the first scenario.

If not as if I am unreasonable lor! I POLITELY ASKED for help! I did not demand that he help me lor!

He is so much older than us and such a simple thing as approaching the customer to offer assistance is too difficult? Thought older people 吃盐比 us younger people 吃米多? Such a simple thing as providing a service is common sense what! He probably has too much sugar than salt, because of his size!

Hope he gets fired soon. He is not doing his job! Only waiting for customers to call him.

BEST OF MOOD!!!

Slept early and slept well last night! The stress of 修辞 is gone! Woke up this morning and thought "It's great to be alive!"

Sometimes when you feel like giving up, when it is too stress for you to bear, when you can't take it anymore, think about the sense of achievement and fulfilment you get at the end of the day, and the things you want to pamper yourself with after the all hard work!

And yes, I pampered myself well yesterday! Did hair mask and face mask and had a thorough body scrub! That explains my mood today!~~

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Had not been blogging due to some problems that surfaced in my family. Thanks for all the concern, my dad was discharged on last friday, just in time to celebrate new year with us. But he needs to have injection twice a day and alot of medication to prepare him for his operation.

For the year of the tiger, my only hope is that my family will have good health and be happy always!

SAG PERFORMANCE LAST SATURDAY!

Last Saturday was sag performance, and probably my last performance. I acted a small role as an auntie who brought her niece up.

Can see my wrinkles? I might look like this 20 years down the road. It is hand drawn by me this time. Acted so many times of people with 'age and wisdom', I finally draw my own wrinkles!

During the performance...

Wah! I can really frown man! haha! This scene is when I got devastated and very disappointed with my niece. On the whole, I enjoyed myself even though it was a busy period of time when I have school and had to go NP for rehearsals. Thanks SAG for asking me back to act, and let me 重温 my old acting days. =)

P/S: Going to chalet tonight! celebrating dearest Jing ting and Yee teng's birthday!!! So excited!!!

TIME TO START BLOGGING AGAIN.

Two weeks of school had past and all modules are so boring!! I think the least boring out of all the modules is Readings in Children's Literature. At least there is no need to read before-hand and even when is a reading requirement, it can be done in minutes! It's interesting to read those stories which I had read when young, and I get to read those I've never read before.

First assignment due one week after new year, super sian! There are more to come! ARGH!

SAG performance next Saturday. Quite worried about it, but what can I do? Nobody is willing to heed my suggestion, so it anything happens, god bless...

BACK FROM MY TRIP

UPDATES

Went back to SAG yesterday and got a role of the role of an auntie. I guess lao shi see me as a ancient person. First role was somebody in the olden times, second role was an old lady, and this time an auntie. Frankly speaking, I'm more excited to see the SAG peeps than getting the role. Reminded me of the times we spent together. And it is going to happen again!

RECENT HAPPENINGS!!!

Yoyo! I'm back after chionging two essays in one week! First is a chinese argumentative essay one tues, next is a educational psychology essay on friday and finally a last han yu pin yin essay on next friday. Kind of feels like watching TV, from channel 8 change to channel 5, then change back to channel 8.

Woke up at around 8 this morning. This is what I've done so far:

1) Brush teeth, wash face, have breakfast.

2) Help mummy to hang clothes.

3) Use magic cleaner to clean the floor

4) Scrub my study table. (Yes, I mean literally srcub the table)

See, my little corner is now spick and span!

Yes, I know my study table is super smaller. It is half the size of my my old table which I used until Primary when I moved house. The first time i saw this table, I complain to my mum and she said, "Give you a bigger table also not enough." Quite true, I have tons of things to put lor. At least my small table let me have some discipline of not puting too much junk.

I must say I'm smart and Eco-friendly!! Guess what I did today?

Kept last year's unused calendar because I thought one day I might need it. And I did! (Now you understand why my mum got me a small table...) Checked and realised that the day dates are the same as this month! Now its happily stuck on my wall! =)

Yesterday, when I alighted at Boon Lay interchange, a man who obviously dressed like he is from insurance company, suddenly held his hand in my dictionary and said loudy, “恭喜，你中奖了！”

I ignored him and continue walking. he said again (same volume), something like “你不相信啊？是啦，请问你是从NTU来的吗？”

I ignored him and walked even faster. Luckily he did not follow. What a way to promote his insurance. Furthermore, it's so embaressing lar! Speak so loudly in a place with so many people! I can feel people looking lor! But Vivian say it is more embaressing for him because I did not respond. Haha! So embaressing how to respond also!

All promoters out there, please put your customers' face in consideration before you try anything funny. Thank you very much!

I'm soooo looking to after exams! Alot activities are planning-in-progress, Will be going for a holiday in Malaysia for 5D4N, and going back to SAG to act!!! Missed acting! Did not get any CCA in Uni because it ended too late and I will only reached home after 12.

Super busy lately, no time for breaks. =(

Need to hand in an essay tomorrow, another one this Friday and another next Friday.

After which it's exam! 2 papers next next week and one last one next next next week! Bleah, so many things need to accomplish and yet so little time.

Might not be blogging much for a month, but stay tune to twitter to get updates on me! It is under the about me section. =)

Will be free after 23rd November.

By the way, I will be going on a holiday during December!!!!! SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!! It shall be my 推动力!

I DESERVE A GOOD REST!

This week is a busy for me. Had a lit test on Wednesday, and it was tough. Did not mean to be lazy and spot topics but there is no time. Just handed in my 2000 words essay today! Slept at 2am last night, no this morning, all because of the citation, can't believe i spent 2 hours dealing with it. I think the person who came up with APA will come down with a terrible cold due to all the cursings we made while doing the essay. Bless him/her.

I'm glad its 雨过天晴! Have you ever felt helpless when one of your best friend is having some problems and you don't how you could console them? Were you afraid of giving suggestions and comments because you are scared that they will be affected? It is depressing to see friends sad because you don't know what you could do to for them. Sometimes, I find that being a listening ear is not enough... But I guess that's the only thing I can do...

MINDS CAFE WITH THE 4 FLOWERS!

It is great to put down laptop once in a while and play board games! It does not affect your eyesight, and at the same time you can have heaps of fun!

Went to minds cafe last Tuesday! And it was so much fun! And I got to learn some things too!! Played games which I have never played before. My most memorable childhood is sitting on the swing and challenging my friends who would swing the highest.

Here are some of the games we played:

We are no suppose to laugh for this game, and it works! because it wasn't even funny.

NIGHTMARE

Had a horrible dream last night, I can feel goosebumps as I was recalling it.

I dreamt that I was making a speech and my teeth started to drop one after another. Nobody noticed. A total of four came out. It was painless. I hold the teeth and stared at it. I woke up, immediately use my tongue to checked that all teeth are in placed.

When the first tooth dropped, I already knew that I am in a dream, but somehow i just couldn't wake up. I had to wait for the whole dream to end before i woke up. Hate having dreams like this.

Sometimes my dreams repeat. Often, I dreamt that I was lying on my bed and the bed start to spin faster and faster. Every time the dream start I will think: Not again? But still, I won't be able to wake up and stop the dream. I have to wait until the spinning is too fast and I woke up in fright. Subconsciously, I know that the same dream is happening, but I am unable to stop it...

Well, people say that what happens in dreams is always the opposite in real-life. I think I should consider myself lucky that my teeth are still intact and my bed will stay rooted to the ground and not send me to outer-space?

COZYCOT HOLY GRAIL PARTY!!!

Yesterday was the first time I attended the CozyCot Holy Grail Party!! And I love it!!!

Saw Fann wong! She has good skin, her face is glowing!

The party was great! Yesterday was the very first time I went!! There were so many brands such as Za, Bio-essence, Asience, Shu Uemura, Stage Cosmetics etc...

And I got a Za 2-way foundation for only 10 bucks!!! Recommended by Vivian! The oil blotting powder she got seems not bad too!!

MORE HARDWORKING PERHAPS?

Every since I started University, it's like a dream, so unreal. First, I have a best friend who will go to school with me almost everyday whenever our timetable permits. One secret childhood dream fulfiled.

Second, putting all lessons and schoolwork aside, everyday is fun and filled with laughter and jokes. And surprisingly, chinese literature is one of my favourite subject!

Third, I guess I have been more enthusitic about school. I started studying earlier than usual (Used to 临时抱佛脚, study 2 or 3 days before test and exams). I packed my schoolbag everyday before going to bed. I read up before lessons. I faithfully lookup whatever the lecturers tell us to check.

Fouth, I will not allow things to pile up on my table. I make sure to give myself a condusive enviroment.

Fifth, I make sure to sleep no later then 12pm every weekday.

Bad habits are slowly turning to become good habits! I'm so proud of myself!!

Wanted to blog on Tuesday, but blogger went haywire again, was unable to upload any pictures.

As mentioned in my previous post, I had a lunch outing with my lovely new friends! It is decided on the third day we've met! And we are willing to go as far to Tampines just for lunch. Look at how we click!!

Everyone should be able to recognise me and Vivian, so the "stranger" on the right is Hui Mei, bubbly and cheerful, funny jokes always came from her mouth.

We have also planned a singing session on next Tuesday! School is so much fun with them!!

1ST WEEK OF SCHOOL

First week of school had passed with few heart attacks on the way...

Tues: Incomplete timetable, went school early to clarify together with Vivian. The person who fixed our timetable told us, "You have a class now, you need to go and attend it, and also explain to your lecturer". We went, attended remaining half hour, went home.

Wed: Make new friends. They are a nice bunch of people. Saw Huijun in the same lecture for one module.

Thurs: Attended 2 tutorials, Vivian was supposed to be in another class for the 2nd tutorial.

Fri: Did not see my name in the class list, had heart attack, thought that timetable was wrong again, luckily I only need to add my name in the class list. Did not had one module that day, resulted in a 7 hours break, managed to survive though it. The last lesson of the day was interesting, had loads of fun!

I'm going to enjoy my 4 years of university life to the fullest. I think I'm enjoying school more probably because I missed school when I was working. And when I am tired schooling, I will probably feel like working.

The grass is always greener at the other end for every humans.

IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!

(Sing to the tune) It's a small world after all~~ it's Singapore after all~~ It's a small small world!~~

Yeaps! I just realised how small Singapore is today! Well, yesterday actually, but the feeling is stronger today. How is this so??

1. I was surprised to see Huijun taking the same lecture as me yesterday. Not sure why, but it is still great to see her!

2. Yesterday night when I added a new friend, Hui Mei, on facebook, I found out she is a friend of Jie Ying. Well, she is Jie Ying's junior during their JC days.

3. Today, I add another friend, Carrie or Shu Hui, on facebook (again) I found out she is a secondary classmate of Debbie and Hui Wen 4 years straight!!!

It is kind of amazing how I can have this kind of coincidence in a class of 30 over people. Well, fate do play big jokes on me. And I'm glad I signed up for a facebook account. =)

MOOD FOR BLOGGING

I'm back!! After so long, I've already forgotten how blogging feels like. And I know that there are faithful readers who still continue to visit even though there are no updates and I'm thankful for that.

I had thought about closing the blog before. But, I thought about how long I have been blogging and I felt that I could not leave them alone. And so I'm back!

I've revamped my blog, hoping that it will motivate me to blog more often. Then, blogger encountered some problems and I told myself that I will start after the problem is solved. But in the end, I did not. And I concluded it's all because of laziness. Therefore, I shall not be lazy anymore! There will be at least a few posts per month! Trust me! *Cross my heart and hope to die...*

MEDICAL CHECKUP

I had my medical checkup yesterday, and guess what??? I am 155cm now! hahaha!! I remembered that I was 153cm during sec 4. And I had grown 2cm which I thought I won't get to grow! wahaha!!

I guess I'm not too short afterall! Maybe the chilling days in Wuhan cause my metabolic rate to increase and in turn make me grow in height???

Nevertheless, I glad that I am healthy!! Now, I just need to go take photo for the making of the PS card.

I can't wait to go to school!!

CUT DOWN

Apparently, whenever I got sick, it was always when my body is too heaty plus I ate too many sweet things before I go to sleep. When I say sick, I mean the same old sore throat. I had it again the day before ( did not tell mum, if not she will force me to go to the doctor) but thank goodness, it healed today. However, there is still much phlegm left in my throat.

And so... i have decided to cut down on this...

They are really nice pictures I know, just by looking, my sweet tooth feel itchy already. Can't eat but still can see right. Maybe my face will become slimmer after staying away from them for one month?

LOST OF TEMPER

I totally lost it today in the centre. I ask the kids to sit in their rows, and the 1st time I said it, only a few kids heard and follow the instruction. I thought I was too soft and I spoke louder and only half of of the people listened. And I said the third time and the fourth.

It was then when I could not take it and practically screamed at them. It was the first time I ever screamed with so much anger. I hardly or never screamed like that. At most I shouted. The usual calm and cool me was gone with a snap of fingers. These kids attitude was so bad. Is like they took me for nothing, ignored me as if I was air.

It shooked me so much that after the scolding, my palms suddenly went cold, and trembled slightly. Which, I have never experience before. Definitely shows how furious I was with them. And it the first time i cried in the centre. Friends whom known me, know that I hardly cry too. But today's incident was too much for me to take it. Normally, students who are rude to me, i still am able to take it. But, somehow, I could not tolerate it any long and i totally flare up to the extend that my palms are able to lose its heat.

But, my colleagues did talk to the children and they apologised. The moment they apologised, I felt like crying all over again.

Haiz... kids will always be kids and tomorrow they will be back to normal. I really do hope that they would start to appreciate me better, and start to respect me.

Thankfully, my colleagues supported me. And I'm glad that I am able to work with these wonderful people.

I'M LIKE HAVING SORE THROAT FOR THE ZILLIONTH TIME!!!

Why do I always get sore throat and not running nose or gastric or red eye once in awhile? why must it be sore throat?!?!? *yells*

This is the third time I'm having sore throat this year. Now i can't talk alot, eat my favourite food, drink my favourite cold drink. I'm like having "hospital food" now lor!

And the B***** doctor refused to give me a cough syrup that stops coughing but instead gave one that helps me to cough. I'm going to have hell of the time coughing, thank you very much.\

Looking on the bright side, I going out with Vivian and jia ying tomorrow!!! =)

LAPPIE IS BACK!!!!

Lappie is back and so am I! (in terms of blogging...)

I'm offically bonded with MOE, and it all happened yesterday. Now I will need to a medical checkup and I'm crossing my fingers hoping nothing will happen and that I'm still pink in health. I will need a new pair of spectacles before the checkup so that there won't be any serious problem with they check my eyes. I always hated my shortsighted-ness and I am going to set aside some money for lasik!

So after the MOE thingy, I went to school to collect my graduation attire and I got size XXS, due to the fact that I reserved late.

The i meet miao to go to Jurong to collect my lappie. And it was when i was about to reach the place then i realise i forgot to bring my laptop casing!!! How blur can I be????? And after that, I went to IMM carrying my laptop.

Thanks to miao for lending me a top for graduation, so that won't need to waste money and buy it while knowing I will only wear it once.

Before I forget, I would you thank those who wished me happy birthday near a month ago. I'm extremely late, I know I know. And thanks for all pressies! I really like them!!!

MOE INTERVIEW TOMORROW!!!

I'm going to an interview tomorrow! I got a mail on Saturday which announced that the interview is tomorrow and I'm like "so fast????"

Well, I think it is an early birthday surprise for me as I'm getting worried when some of my friends of people whom I know are getting interviews from the various universities except me.

And I got extremely worried about my bleak future when i received vivi's sms that MOE has sms her which I didn't get. But moments later, my sister came back with the mail in her hands. (She has a habit of opening the mailbox whenever she comes home.)

I gave a shriek of excitement when i saw the letter was actually from MOE.

I hope my birthday luck will last till i secure a sit in the BA(Edu) course!

I just came back from celebrating vivi's bdae part 1. Part 2 is on this weekend! Hope she had a pleasant surprise!

May we do well in the interview tomorrow! Do wish us plenty of luck!

FIRST PAY!!!

I got my pay cheque two days ago! and was lazy to blog... but the pay was not for the month. They told me that for part-timers, the pay is counted on the 21st of one month to next month 20th, so it wasn't much but I'm still happy!!! And, there is also CPF! this is the first time I'm having CPF for a job! cool!

I've not decide what to do with the money so it shall be safely resting in my bank at the moment.

Oh ya! I need to get a present for my bestie (You know who you are) soon! As we are going to celebrate together next week! I'm having trouble thinking of what to buy... maybe you would like to drop some hints??? keke!

WHY MUST GIRLS WEAR EARRING?

Yesterday, I was sending off the morning session pupils to their schools when a pri 2 boy ask me a question.

Austin: Miss Tan, why must girls wear earrings arh?

Me: Hmm...(After thinking for a while...) to look nice lor... Do your mummy wear earrings?

Austin: (Nods his head.)

Me: Does she look pretty when she wear her earrings?

Austin: Yes.

Me: That's why! So, do you understand now?

Austin: (Nods his head again).

Looking after these kids are fun but there are those who really get on my nerves. There is a Pri 6 girl having tons of attitude problems and her mood changed drastically. One moment she can be smiling and talking happily, the next moment she can suddenly storm out of my class and come back after a few minutes while scolding some words.And there is no point scolding her, all I can do is to reason with her. The other teachers also had problems handling her sia. Thank god, I'm was never like that!

Last weekend was extremely fun with the SAG peeps! Saturday is dinner with Jing Ting, Vivian, Poh Ling and Patrick. Sunday was an overnight chalet with the SAG peeps!! Will post it soon when I have the time!!

My new work schedule is out! I don't have to work on weekends! Kindly ask me out! =) Arigato!

THE KIDS ARE SWEET!!

well... only the morning session which is mostly made up of the pri 1 and 2s. And I received these on my first day of work!

The girls very sweet!! they drew these during their free time and gave it to me.

I was in cloud 9! But... when afternoon came, i dropped down to hell....

The pri 3 and 4 were hell!! Because I am the new teacher, the boys purposely make a lot of noise and disturb other students who are working. I think my wrinkles' growing process is speeding up man!

Now, I'm not only a Chinese teacher, I had to teach maths and science too! And English soon...

Need to buy wrinkle-free soon liao....

I finally got a job today after lazing around for 1 month plus after coming back from China. And I will be a student care teacher in woodland staring tomorrow! Hope the kids don't give me any trouble~~

I think I will be the only Chinese teacher there sia... Their Chinese teacher is hospitalized so they need a Chinese teacher urgently to take our her job. My job is to assist students in their homework, give them spelling, conduct lessons, supervise them and fetch them to and from school (take turns with the other teachers).

Hope I will have fun working there!~~

For the whole of February, if you sms 2009 to 79777, you can go to various places for free such as Sentosa, Jurong Bird Park, Flyer etc.

This morning, me and mum wanted to go to the flyer. We decided to reach there at about 8am which is the opening time. Because its free, there will be probably a lot of people waiting to take ride.

I guess we underestimated Singaporean's kiasu-ness. While we were waiting for the bus, we received a call from my uncle who was already there. He told us that the slots are already full and its only 7am in the morning!!! one hour before the flyer starts!

Heard that there are some mattresses on the ground. Apparently, there are kiasus who went there a day before and spent the night there! Well lucky for them, it didn't rain yesterday. If it rained, we will probably get a higher chance of riding the flyer.

Now that I am extremely wide awake, I shall go surf net!

RED CLIFF II

I have always wanted to watch Red Cliff II after watching the first part. And I did, yesterday. But with miao instead.

Watch Red Cliff I with jy and wanted to watch the 2nd part with her also but I was afraid that by the time we will be able to meet up, the show stop screening. Sorry girl, will 赔偿you de.

I still think that the first part was better, even though the second part was still not bad but not as spectacular.

But what I enjoyed most was hanging out with my best friend after 4 months in China. I think you probably cheered up abit after meeting me and “发泄”right? No worries, when time goes everything will be okay!

I am going to collect some mixer which my sis sent for repair later, and she will be able to bake something for me in reurn! yeah! And I ask miao to accompany me cause I think she will also be slacking at home.

I will probably be going for the NAPFA test tomorrow. The school is damn persistant lor! I pon the first session and they make another session to try and get people to take the test again.

IM AM FINALLY BACK!!!

I am finally back from China!!!! Whees!!!

And I had roti prata and soy bean milk for breakfast, Fried carrot cake (black) for lunch and Kway for dinner today!

I am so going to eat more of these delicacies!

Now that I'm out of China there are quite a few no mores which I don't enjoy:
1. No more piling clothes onto myself just to go out to buy things.
2. No more hearing cars honking like crazy.
3. No more dusty and uneven roads.

4. No more 冰糖葫芦, I especially like the strawberries ones!
5. Shouting across the room to call my friends and finding friends just by taking the elevator.
6. Buying lots of things.

Actually, I like Singapore better than China. And going there makes me feel that I'm really very 幸福.

LAST DAY IN CHINA

Today is will be my last day in China, Wuhan. And I'm sooo looking forward to going home!!!

Mum is probably going to make a big fuss when she sees my luggage before she sees me. I can imagine how she will react again when my parcels arrive.

Got a new piercing on my left ear, and it dropped off when I was sleeping, and I'm unable to put it back!!! man... got to go see the auntie again...

EXAMS IN WINTER

Ever tried having exams in winter?

I did. Had my first paper today! One down and five more to go!!

For the first time in my polytechnic life that I had to take so many papers. Thank goodness for the heater, if not I will definately freeze to death.

New media is next tomorrow and its open book. No wonder i feel so slack.

These few days is 不眠夜 for me. Can't get to sleep and I just lie on the bed to rest my eyes. Dylan says it because I 放不下. True. My mum used to tell me I always have some illness whenever it comes to exams since primary school.

Maybe, tonight I will be able to rest well. Maybe.

SNOW!

For the 19 years in my life, yesterday was the first time i see snow, well... just for a little while.

Unexpected little bits of star-shaped snow, even smaller than the size of pea, fell on Wuhan yesterday night. And the moment they reached the ground, they melted.

It is definitely a sign! A sign that I will probably be able to see real snowflakes before i leave for Singapore in two weeks if I'm lucky! And if I'm luckier, I may even get to build a snowman!

For us Singaporeans to see snow is expensive, we can only see it if we travel to other countries which has four seasons.

It's 2009!!!

I spent the last day of 2008 by being a pig. Reason: I got sick again. Vivian had the similar illness as me. We spent the whole day sleeping and only wake up to fill our stomachs. Don't worry, we have gotten better. After battling with the virus in our sleep,we have won!

Today, we decided that we shall not sleep our lives away. No, we cannot do that. We won't want to waste away another year.

My resolutions for this new year is:
1. Become healthier. I've been sick a lot of times in China, something is wrong with my health.
2. Become more organised. I used to be very organised but I became lazy.
3. Stop chewing tibits. I don't want more muscles to build up at my jaw area, and make my face bigger.
4. Love myself more and have more confidence.
5. Hang out with my friends more.
6. Decide my future soon.

CHRISTMAS

I'm late in blogging about Christmas! Even though there is no white Christmas for me, I'm glad that I can still celebrate with the t01s!

First, we had dinner at a western restaurant, and then some of us put on the little red hats and "hop" to the empty plot of land in front of the hostel to play with sparkles. Its damn fun! Hope we can all do it again during New years Day!

BLACKOUT

Ever tried bathing and a blackout occurred?

I did. Yesterday.

And it was the 2nd second 狼狈 experience since I came to China. The first one was the umbrella which spoilt on us during a rainy day...

Back to the blackout. Apparently, Debbie and Dylan were also caught in the blackout. LOL!

Lucky Vivian took her phone and stick her hand in, if not i cannot see anything. I was also afraid of the water becoming cold without the heater.

The blackout is on and off and happened for three days already... the wire line is so lousy! Since the first day of blackout, internet connect became haywire and I could not surf the net, and cannot submit my homework. And what have I been doing doing these few days to pass time? Munching on tibits of course!!

Initially, i wondered why I got to do CIP even when I'm in China. But I'm glad went even though it was not compulsory. It was a fulfilling experience. I got the chance to meet people whom I've never meet before, and realised how blessed I am.

HUGE WIND

Wind is howling like there's no tomorrow outside my hostel now. I can hear the sound very clearly even when the windows of the corridor are tightly closed, can you imagine how strong the wind is? You are most likely not able to hear this kind of sounds in Singapore.

Had CIP yesterday, and it was the best CIP I have ever done and enjoyed.

*Humans do get attached to each other easily, that's why we are call humans.*

MY FIRST TAOBAO PRESSIE!

Everyone loves present, who doesn't? Even if it was something which I bought for myself.

Everyone in my clique got their pressie this past week all except me...

But....... it arrived today!!!

Ta-dah!!!

LOVE it loads, even though the quality sucks. That's what you get from E-shopping, even sometimes when you go shopping, you may only notice the faults when you want to try it on again at home.

I think I will have more parcels coming tomorrow!!!~~~

It has a handle!!! How did it happen? Well, I bought a new bag with a detachable handle today, and after I walked out of the shop, an idea stuck me. And, as shown above, it works!

It is really amazing how the colour and the shade of the handle match perfectly! Now my amount of spoilt bags is reduced to 2. And it shall remain this number...

I'm really afraid of my bags spoiling again. Now, I don't dare to carry heavy things and I will hold on to my water bottle. And I use the reason of "good for my shoulder" to encourage myself to pack as little as possible...

Shall go and do my homework, Byees!!!

CURSED!

I seriously have no fate with taobao....

I decided to start taobao-ing (china online shopping) recently and have already fill up the slip a few days ago and the first 3 days of this week is too busy that I wouldn't deposit money which means I can't buy anything yet!

Yesterday i went to some post office to deposit the money.

First, I bought the money but forgot the slip. Okays nevermind, i asked for a new piece. Next the counter person says the system is down and that the systems sometimes will be okay and sometimes have problem... -_-''' like the system got mood like that...

Then today after class, I went back to the same post office to try again. The same person says that the system cannot recognise my name and i got to fill it in again. While i was filling the slip, Yan Min went ahead to deposit her money and the person say the system is down again... What the hell!

There is something seriously wrong with the system man!

Am going to a further post office now...

I'M BACK!!!

I'm back from another trip, and this time is 山峡大坝...

Me and my newly permed hair, which everyone (or so I think) is yearning to see... and some may have already gotten sneak previews in Vivian's blog.

I will blog about this trip when I got all the pictures! Till then... shall talk about other things!

There is school tomorrow~~~~ NO!~~~ I don't want next week to come for I'm going to have lack of sleep again... Furthermore, the cold weather makes me want to hibernate... I realised I'm sleeping and napping more often now...

UNLUCKY ME!! =(

I bought a total of 4 bags here, and all of them “全军覆没” except one, the vintage bag.

Damn suay can! Waste of money! Apparently, I am the only in our group which has the highest record fo spoilt bags. The bags the others bought are still fine, except mine!!!

China bags are so darn lousy! Maybe I am just suited to carry branded bags that will not wear and tear that easily... I'm probably mean to be a tai tai. keke

At least, I still have more excuses to buy even more bags!

I want to buy more leggings here!! Anybody wants? They are real cheap!

HOW NUA CAN I BE???

I woke up at 8pm plus just now!!!

Afternoon class was cancelled today and the seven of us went to have some buffet. After buffet we went back to our hostel to nap and... me and vivian woke up at 8! or rather, i sort of exclaimed while waking her up... LOL!

I guess everyone was beat after the an eventful yesterday trying to complete our website. Dreamweaver is one difficult and weird software... But at least it is done!!! Cheers for everyone!!

If i sleep until so late, my mum will definately kill me, she dislike such unhealthy lifestyle.

And, my nua-ness can never compare to a certain someone, she is already in a completely different level... *winks*

NEW HAIR

Okays, this is not regarding the happy post, for i have not gotten the pictures yet...

But, I have another news to announce, I got my hair permed yesterday!

Shocking right? but I don't think I will want to go perm again, for the whole process is rather long and tiring...

This is something I have not tried before in my whole life, anyone has any tips on how to take care of permed hair??

Back to my hair, do I like it???

To tell the truth, I do not really like it, but the others say that it looks okay, and that I got to wait until the curls lossen abit.

Till then my face will disappear from here quite awhile...
